EpicBattleAxe.com has now received confirmation of the delay via email from the PR firm associated with the title. The good news? It's being pushed back until the "end of summer 2009", and not all the way until Holiday 09' as some had believed.
Here's the email:
"Eidos Interactive and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment can today confirm that Batman: Arkham Asylum will be released at the end of summer 2009. This additional time will allow us to ensure Batman: Arkham Asylum is of the highest quality for gamers."
Well, as long as the "highest quality" part is true, I guess we can all live with the delay, right?
